How Can I Serve?

Requirements to serve:

1. Must have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior.
2. Committed to growing in your faith through regular time in the Word, prayer, and fellowship. 

3. Honor Jesus Christ as the number one priority in your life. 

4. Live a lifestyle that is in agreement with all scripture. 

5. Be reliable, dependable, and committed to serving the Lord. 

6. Must have attended Calvary Chapel Living Water weekly for at least six months.

7. Agree with Calvary Chapel’s Statement of Faith with no reservations.

8. Must interview with a Pastor/Elder/Ministry Director.  

In addition to the General Requirements to serve at CC Living Water some of the ministries have additional requirements specific to that Ministry:

Specific Requirements for Children’s Ministry

For anyone in Children’s Ministry we will implementing background checks. CA has some new mandates from the last couple of years so we’re trying to get updated on those things but we do require background check for anyone 18 and older. There will be an application that needs to be filled out and filed with Livescan. We’ll have more info on that to come.

If you’re coming in as a teacher’s helper, requirements would be to interact with the kids and be available for whatever the teacher needs.

Teachers – we ask that CC Living Water be your home church for at least 6 months.

As discipleship classes come up, we highly encourage for you participate in them.

As teachers, we’re training these kids, so we should be taking every opportunity to get poured into in our own personal walk with the Lord.

If you’re teaching the Word to the kids, you should be reading your Word.

What we’re teaching the kids they need to be absolute from what the Word says and not just what we “heard” or what we “guess”.

Specific Requirements for Women’s Ministry

Ladies that are 18 and older.     

A heart for God and God’s daughters.

Ladies who have a heart to be present with our sisters as they walk in different seasons of life.     

Ladies who have a heart to come alongside us to minister to other ladies.
